It is time for the sale that takes over the internet every summer - the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale or NSale for short!
I personally have a love/hate relationship with this sale, they have great pieces that make me dream of Fall, but I also feel like everyone ends up getting the same things so they sell out so quickly.
This year's sale has been better than the past couple of years; but there were still only a handful of items that I picked up. I got these shoes in brown, these shorts, these leggings, another pair of the spanx leggings, and this bag for work/travel. I might make another before the sale is over! Below I rounded up the things that caught my eye from this year's sale.
The sale is now open for card holders, and it will open for public access on August 19.
Just in case you have been avoiding Instagram for the past week (Or are anything like my husband and can't seem to work it...), you might not know that the #NSale started on July 12th and it opens to the public on July 19th (tomorrow, yay!)!
Much like every other girl on IG, I have always looked forward to July because of the #NSale. This year however, I'll admit I was a little disappointed. The clothes and accessories are gorgeous, of course, but I felt like I was having deja vu, having seen most of the items included in the sale in years prior.
Don't get me wrong I LOVE Nordstrom, I probably spend way too much money there (the free shipping gets me every time!!) but, after taking a look at my IG feed/Closet I realized I own a lot of the items that are on sale this year. This can also be taken as a positive, these items have been staples in my closet for a while now, so it really attests to the quality and durability of their clothing.
Here's a couple of items that I have bought in prior years that are part of this year's sale!
Steve Madden Boots: I got this OTK boots two years ago during the sale and the chunky heel makes them super comfortable! This year's version has an elastic band on the back which prevents them from falling down, but that seems to be the only difference I could find.
Tory Burch Boots: I got this about 4 years ago, this year's version is a little darker brown.
Spanx Faux Leather Leggings: There's not much I can say about this leggings other than they 100% live up to the hype! I might pick up another pair this year.
Madewell Hat: This hat! I picked up the gray version two years ago and I love how structured it is!
Blank NYC Jacket: The perfect suede jacket, a little cropped and I love to wear it when I travel!
Blank NYC Jacket: This is the same version as the jacket above but in the leather version.
With all of that being said there are a couple of things I want to get when the sale opens to the public tomorrow - these boots, these booties, this jacket (maybe!).
Are y'all getting anything from the sale? Leave your thoughts (And #NSale wants!) in the comments below!
I know there is a lot of content going around about the #NSale, so I hope y'all enjoy my take on this year's sale.
It's that time of the year again - Christmas in July, better known as the NSALE!
What is the NSALE?
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale or NSALE is when Nordstrom starts bringing out their fall/winter inventory at discounted prices (there are some summer pieces too.) This sale is different that any other because instead of discounting items from past seasons they discount the prices on items for the upcoming seasons. What are the dates of the NSALE?
Early access for cardholders - July 12 to July 19
Open to the Public - July 20 to August 6

Every season there is one trend that I am obsessed with since the beginning, and this summer that trend was embroidered clothing, shoes, and accessories. There is something about embroidery that takes a piece to the next level. This is also a trend I believe will carry over well into the Fall and Winter.
I have rounded up my favorite embroidered items under $50 and a lot of them are easy to transition into the Fall!!
