Traveling to: San Francisco

Around Valentine's Day every year my husband and I take a trip to Las Vegas, this year we decided to go to San Francisco first and then drive to Vegas (longest 9hr drive of my life!) The only thing to see between San Francisco and Vegas is the "World's Largest Thermometer" and I was asleep for that part! Although the road trip part of our trip was not my favorite, San Francisco was amazing!! It was my first time visiting SF and I can't wait to go back!

Although we were only there for 3 days we got to do most of the touristy things we wanted to do! The only thing that we didn't get to do was to visit Alcatraz, but it is on our of things to do for next time!

My Favorite part of the trip was getting to see the Golden Gate Bridge, pictures don't do it justice!!

If you want to see more pictures from our trip to SF keep on reading!!

Golden Gate Bridge:

You can't go to San Francisco and not visit the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, we went to see it about two hours before it closed so it wasn't super packed!

Baker Beach:

Baker Beach had some amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge! You can actually bring a picnic basket and watch the sunset from here! It is amazing and free!

Ferry Building/Coi Tower:

Lombard Street:

Lombard Street is known as the "Crookedest Street in the World", we drove down the street and walked up and down the street. It was so much fun!

Fisherman's Wharf:

Ghirardelli Square:

Who doesn't love chocolate and pretty views?!

SF Cable Cars:

We actually took the cable car from Fisherman's Wharf to union square. It was so much fun and you great views along the way!

Mr. Holme's Bakehouse:

I'm not going to lie I actually saw a picture of this place on Instagram and wanted to go because it looked really cool, and I do not regret it because all the pastries were so delicious!!

Make sure to get there early because pastries sell out fast and as soon as they are sold out they close!

The Painted Ladies:

This is not the house from full house like everyone thinks, the house from the show is actually a couple of streets down. The painted ladies were in a couple of scenes in the show but it is not the house where they lived. You can learn more about the Painted Ladies here.

16th Avenue Tiled Steps:

These mosaic steps were just waiting to be photographed! There are 163 steps total and at the top is the beginning of Grand View Park, which overlooks the whole city! For more history on the steps click here.

Grand View Park:

San Francisco was an amazing place to visit, I want to go back soon to do all the things we didn't get to do and of course to catch a baseball game at AT&T Park!!
