Luck of the Irish

You might be able to tell by now, but i love color and I hate being boring when I get dressed. I am not afraid of color by any means. Sometimes I think I push the envelope a little bit when it comes to a Corporate job...but much rather stand out than blend in :)

Lately I've had an obsession with the color navy and green...and together they are just amazing (even my suitcase is Navy with green polka dots) So today I decided to combine my two favorite colors in one outfit...

and no outfit is complete without a monogram....

Shirt (Forever 21 old), Shoes (Jessica Simpson), Pants (JC Penney), Monogrammed Necklace (Marley Lilly)

It really looked like I was a Notre Dame Fan today (go fightin' Irish! lol)....but I still loved my outfit. The green pants are some of the most comfortable dress pants I own and of course they are super bright! I think people should embrace color more, even in corporate offices. When I see somebody wearing bright colors it makes me smile....and a little more smiles around the office is never a bad thing :)

Love,
Isabel

Pink Perfect

I know it is not Wednesday....but I am still wearing pink :)

Dress (H&M), Shoes (Jessica Simpson), Watch (Michael Kors), Necklace (Target not available online)

For somebody who's favorite color is pink (I know how original!) I don't wear it as often as I would like to, it is actually really hard to find a cute pink dress that doesn't make you feel like a 5 year old. A couple of weeks ago I went shopping with my best friends and came across the perfect pink dress. This dress was so perfect it was hard to believe. It was the perfect length, the perfect shade and the perfect cut (I know i have said perfect so many times, but I am just so excited about this dress)

I felt put together and professional when I tried on this dress, which is really hard to do when you are wearing a vibrant hot pink dress.

I just needed one last thing to make my outfit truly perfect...the right accessories :) Thank you Target for never disappointing.....

With my job I travel every week, so living out of a suitcase can sometime be a hassle but that doesn't mean that I have to stop being fashionable. This dress is great for traveling because it doesn't wrinkle even after hours in my suitcase specially when I forget to unpack after I landed on Mondays. I love the fact that I didn't have to iron my clothes this morning....because let's be honest I like my sleep too much...

Love,
Isabel

Tech Tuesday

I try to lead a pretty healthy life, I exercise at least three days a week and watch what I eat...except for the occasional cupcake. When technology started getting involved in fitness and making it easier to keep yourself accountable for being healthier, I was on board!

Last summer I bought a Nike fuel band, at first I love it but after a couple of months wearing it I got bored with it. The Fuel band was bulky and sometimes it didn't go with my outfits so I stopped wearing it (don't worry it didn't go to waste my Fiance uses it all the time now!). After owning the fuel band I caved and bought the FitBit Fuel, I really liked it but like a million other people in America it gave me a rash on my wrist and I had to return it....

I had given up on trying to find a new step/goal tracker, I even contemplated on getting another Nike Fuel Band (they came out in black with rose gold accents!!) but I knew the same thing would happen and i would stop wearing it after a couple of months.

After losing hope here comes Tory Burch to save the day!! (why am I not surprised?!?) Her partnership with FitBit is one made in heaven; chic trackers that actually look like jewelry and will go with any outfit. You can be healthy and keep your self accountable, while still looking super fashionable.

Still trying to decide which one I am going to pre-order (I love the first one and second one!! I really can't decide) Here are some of the pieces from the Tory Burch/FitBit collaboration:

Tory Burch for Fitbit Silicone Printed Bracelet - FUCHSIA MULTI/SHINY BRASS

In Fashion September is our New Year

In Fashion the September Issue is iconic; it is a new beginning - a glimmer of hope between those crop tops and barely there shorts that have been haunting us all Summer long. It is also a friendly reminder that the best is yet to come.

Don't get me wrong I love Summer and laying by the pool as much as the next girl but Fall brings cozy sweaters, rich textures, jeweled tones, pumpkin spiced lattes and of course football! I would like to point out that with Fall also comes Baseball Post Season; but that would just be adding insult to injury since the Rangers are doing so terrible this season.... (#RangersUsedtoKnowOctober)

With all of this talk about Fall you might be wondering if I know what day today is...yes I know it is August and I also know that there are still a couple of weeks left of Summer. But like any September Issue worth reading it is published in August, giving you a preview of all the pretty little things that are coming your way.

That is the reason why I decided to start my blog now, Fall means a new chapter in my life - the first season engaged to the most amazing guy ever and doing something that I have always wanted to do; start a Fashion blog. So here it goes to writing about technology (I am a nerd at heart), my love for fashion and my obsession with sports (specially Baseball)

The best is yet to come....

Love,
Isabel
